Application for the benefit
The first step is to go to the WERKbedrijf employment office (depending on your address) and there fill an application form or have a personal interview with an employee to register your data.
After registering at the office, you will receive forms to be filled in from the UWV office (responsible for granting the benefit) at your address. The forms are sent back in the enclosed envelope.
During the benefit period
As you are not registered officially in the Netherlands, the UWV has the right to ask you to prove that you are in the Netherlands during your benefit. You can prove this by presenting an accommodation contract in your own name or by using statements from your own bank account, which shows that you are only using your card and account in the Netherlands. The authorities may ask for this data up to 2 years after the end of your benefit.
The job search is completed on the SOLLICITATIEFORMULIER forms that you will receive in WERKbedrijf. These forms must be submitted in order to control if you are fulfilling your obligations.
Any changes such as finding a job, going on vacation, changing your address, etc. are reported on the WIJZIGINGFORMULIER forms, which are sent to your address at the time of the decision to grant you the benefit.
At the end of each month, we must fill in the INKOMSTENFORMULIER with the income earned in that month. The form must also be completed if you have no income. If you did not receive such a form after receiving a decision on the benefit, it is necessary to contact me, I will make sure that you receive it.

IF YOU ARE RECEIVING A BENEFIT AND YOUR SITUATION HAS CHANGED (E.G. YOU HAVE CHANGED YOUR ADDRESS, GO ON VACATION, START A NEW JOB, ETC.) BE SURE TO CONTACT ME AND I WILL SUBMIT THESE CHANGES TO UWV. YOU WILL PREVENT THE FINE.
